‘Puls Biznesu’ has just taken a closer look at our portfolio company, Clovin SA. The cover article about this producer of cleaning products from Czyżew, Podlasie, describes the current situation of the company and its future plans, which include further strengthening of Clovin’s position on foreign markets.
Avallon’s motto, “Investing with managers”, has once again proven to be highly effective and has worked perfectly – this time for Clovin.
At the beginning of this year, Purox- the laundry detergent manufactured by Clovin SA, based in Czyżew, Podlasie- became the most frequently purchased laundry powder in Poland, overtaking such well‑known brands as Ariel, Vizir and Persil, produced by the German company Henkel and the American company Procter & Gamble.
Over the past four years, the company has invested tens of millions of zlotys and has been operating in the Suwałki Special Economic Zone ( SSE) since 2022. In line with its commitments, the company continues to invest, and by the end of next year is expected to spend a total of PLN 60 million on, among other things, expanding production capacity, robotization and automation, and building a finished goods warehouse. This will bring the total CAPEX to PLN 100 million.
