Pb.pl published an article written by Marcin Bołtryk about the aid campaign that since February this year has been organized and run by Avallon MBO and the Widzew Academy whose aim is to give the opportunity to the youngest Ukrainian players to train football. As part of this undertaking, we jointly organized the bringing to Poland of a large group of children from Ukrainian football clubs, and their families. On the Avallon part, the aid has been was coordinated by Małgorzata Olszewska.
– As the main partner of the Academy, we decided to strongly support the club’s aid activities. It was clear to us that if we wanted to be an organization and a club representing moral values as well , it was our duty to welcome these children in Łódź with open arms and to facilitate their integration with Polish friends. It went without saying – emphasizes Tomasz Stamirowski, Managing Partner at Avallon MBO and the main shareholder of Widzew Łódź.
At this point, we would like to thank all the volunteers participating in the campaign, as well as the companies that quickly responded to some specific needs: DK Partners, Wosana, Velvet, Clovin, Carrefour, Centrum Zjazdowa, Marba‑Sport, the Inżynierska social school, Westminster Polska, and the University of Lodzki.
For those interested, we invite you to read the article:
