2016 New Year’s Managers Meeting

On January 20, 2016 The Andels Hotel in Lodz hosted the managers of all portfolio companies of Avallon Fund at the New Year’s Managers Meeting.

The principal idea of the meeting was to exchange experiences and invite a discussion concerning the managing of selected portfolio companies. During the presentation part of the meeting, the following speakers took stage:

• Mr Leszek Jurasz, the President of Zetkama Group;
• Mr Artur Pielak, the CEO of Velvet Care and;
• Mr Michał Perner, the President of the Board of Medort SA.

The final stage of this part was a joint discussion on organisational issues of the portfolio companies. The last part of the meeting, chaired and presented by Mr Flawiusz Pawlak from Investsight, concerned the assessment of impact of environment on companies in 2016. The official part of the meeting was crowned by a surprise concert of an accordion sextet “Old Stars”, whose one of the members was Avallon’s Partner – Mr Michał Zawisza. The other members of the band were:

• Przemyslaw Jankowski – accordion;
• Damian Jaworski – accordion;
• Marcin Piotrowski – accordion;
• Slawomir Stopczyk – bass accordion (artistic director);
• Justin Michalska – vocals;
• Natalia Budzyńska – flute.
