Avallon MBO acquired a majority stake in the Poznań‑based SAT company in September 2023 as part of an IBO (Investor Buy‑Out) transaction.
SAT has been operating since 1990, initially as a distributor and representative of premium sports brands, specializing in skiing‑related products. In the following years, the company created and developed its own brand of stores on a European scale under the name S’portofino, combining sport and fashion. It offers a portfolio of over 130 premium brands and a developed e‑commerce platform: sportofino.com.
The company conducts omnichannel sales, based on a network of 7 flagship stores in prestigious locations in Poland. After entering foreign markets in 2018, the company has recorded rapid growth in the online channel in Europe. S’portofino online stores operate in Poland, Germany, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy and France. The company plans to expand in the omichannel model in Central and Eastern Europe. In September 2024, a stationary S’portofino store was opened in Prague, Czech Republic.
